Courtney and Adam’s love story started the modern way—on Bumble—but everything that followed has been uniquely their own. Their first date began with a less-than-ideal first impression when Adam showed up late, (it happens to the best of us!) leading Courtney to jokingly label him “mediocre.” Despite their rocky start, it turned into something unforgettable. From exploring new restaurants and bars across NYC to traveling through Europe and Africa, cozy Sunday nights with Thai takeout, and becoming regulars at their neighborhood spot, Sefton, their relationship quickly became one full of adventure and laughter.

These lovebirds have built a life around shared fun and effortless connection. Whether it’s Adam sending Courtney a steady stream of TikToks every day, spending weekends side by side from Friday through Sunday, or tackling wedding planning together over drinks and an iPad at the bar, their relationship is rooted in true friendship. As Courtney shared, Adam fits seamlessly into her life, while Adam loves Courtney’s humor, warmth, and the way she brings everyone together and embracing his love of college football.

Adam’s winter proposal was nothing short of magical. On the only snowy day that season, he surprised Courtney with a Central Park proposal, complete with a photographer waiting to capture the moment (nice touch, Adam!) Afterward, they returned home to celebrate with bagels, champagne, and both of their families. The ring itself was the result of many weekends spent exploring jewelers around NYC together until they found the perfect vision, with Adam ultimately choosing the final stone on his own.

For their wedding, they wanted a venue that felt close enough to NYC while still offering the charm of a destination weekend. They fell in love with the quaint riverside town, the nearby shops and restaurants, and especially the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water. With lavender and white details bringing a soft spring elegance to the day, their celebration was all about being surrounded by their favorite people for an unforgettable weekend—and of course, kicking off the party with an incredible horah.

Congratulations, Courtney and Adam! Your wedding was the perfect reflection of your relationship—joyful and full of laughter. Wishing you a lifetime of travels, Sunday takeout nights, and endless TikToks together.
