This bride and groom met on Halloween two years ago, but Ana played an accidental trick on Paul when she unintentionally gave him the wrong number! Thankfully, Paul reached out to their mutual friends and found out that the mix-up was a simple mistake.
Ana made up for her trick with a treat, offering to pay for their first date at Applebee’s in Hillsborough. Impressed by Ana’s independence, Paul accepted, and he says that moment was when he fell in love with her.
Ana says she fell in love even sooner – the first time she saw Paul! In fact, the first time she saw him, she told him she would marry him. Even though she thinks this may have scared him at first, it turns out that she was right.
These newlyweds have been dedicated to each other since they met. Ana used to drive 70 miles every weekend to visit Paul, and Ana says Paul is a true gentleman who takes very good care of her. Whether he’s cooking a meal for them to share while watching reality TV or taking her out to try a new restaurant, she loves the time they spend together. Paul loves her – and her accent – just as much!
He proved that love for her with a very thoughtful proposal that was, “the most special day EVER,” according to Ana. He gave her the exact proposal she wanted, an intimate proposal at home with beautiful decor and an even more beautiful ring he picked out himself.
The two really are soulmates, and everyone can see it! Similar to their proposal, Ana and Paul had a wonderful, intimate wedding with close family and friends at Somerset County Courthouse. You can see the love the two share, and I was honored to capture such a special, personal ceremony.
Congrats to Ana and Paul! See some of our favorite shots from their intimate wedding below.
