Brandi and Hector met on Instagram in 2020, making the most of the time they spent indoors and online! They first met live and in person when Brandi picked Hector up from the airport in St. Louis, Missouri in March 2021. When he landed at 10 pm, the starving couple found their way to Chick-Fil-A. Even today, it’s still their go-to place.
From those very first days, they’ve been laughing together and sometimes at each other. The two love making fun of themselves and share a very similar sense of humor. Brandi especially loves how funny Hector is. When it comes to relationships, humor is (almost!) everything.
One of the things Brandi loves most about Hector is that he follows through on his word – and that was even true of his proposal. Despite finding it too crowded and hectic to propose at the ball drop on New Year’s Eve like he originally planned, he still popped the question that night.
He took Brandi to Hamilton Park, a special place for the two of them. It was there that he proposed against a backdrop of a beautiful view overlooking the city. Their engagement session at Liberty State Park with a view of the city was the perfect nod to their proposal!
The newly-engaged couple are always looking to make the most of their time together whether that means staying in to binge-watch TV or getting out to play tennis. One of their other favorite activities is spending weekends at the beach, making their wedding venue at Belmar Beach the perfect fit.
