David had a blast celebrating his bar mitzvah at Iron Peaks Sports and Events earlier this summer. The venue offered the perfect balance of dancing with the DJ and games and sports, ideal for a boy turning 13!
Before the party got started, I was able to capture some temple portraits for David and his family at Temple Beth-El in Hillsborough, NJ. They hadn’t had formal family portraits taken in years, so these were truly special – even more so since the extended family (and even a furry friend!) were around as well.
For this coming-of-age ceremony, we were able to get shots of the family with the Torah, wearing their tallitot, and posing together outside, too! We had beautiful weather for the boys to play around in, showing off their silly senses of humor and close relationship. These portraits will truly be something to cherish, capturing a significant milestone for David and his family.
David’s favorite part of the day was, of course, his time with friends and family at Iron Peak. The whole event was sports themed, from his cake to his table settings. He spent his time playing basketball and volleyball with friends, trying his hand at an obstacle course or two, and reenergizing for all this fun with delicious food from CP Catering!
I could tell David was a sweet kid with a lot of love for his family, which is why I was honored to capture memories from this special day for all of them.
Mazel Tov, David! Check out some of the best shots from the day below!
