Saturday mornings used to be reserved for sleeping in and cartoons. Now it’s all about the family photography sessions, like this one for this Bernardsville family! I’m not complaining though because this family was a dream. You get a call about a photography session for a family with three boys under the age of ten, and you can’t help but get a little nervous.
Ladies that have baby fever, I warn you before you scroll to the next image because the little one is going to make your heart melt. Okay, you’ve been warned.
It was nearing the end of the family session and I could tell the boys were getting a little tuckered out. It’s amazing, like clockwork, you near that one hour mark and the attention goes out the window! Well, I’m not one to force the boys to sit and pose, so instead, I took a different approach. I decided to let them play with the camera and make some funny faces with a fish-eye lens.
And what do you know, I am so glad that I got them back into having their pictures taken. Because if I didn’t, I never would’ve captured the next few moments. It can be difficult to capture the personalities of little ones, but I think I nailed it with these next shots, what do you think? This Bernardsville family was (mostly) all smiles.
