Aly and Noah’s winter wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor was as dreamy as it sounds.
This couple met at work and after some “heavy meddling” – I’m loving that pun, straight from the bride – from a co-worker, they connected.
The first time they hung out was with a group of fellow teachers, and Noah actually met Aly’s whole family. They must have made a great impression because Noah asked Aly to go on a date that day, which was both St. Patrick’s Day and his birthday. Lots to celebrate! I have a feeling they’ll love celebrating on that day for years to come.
Speaking of celebrations – their wedding was also a blast, and I couldn’t be happier for this now husband and wife.
I went to high school with the beautiful bride (and many of the guests in attendance!) and it was so fun to have that added layer of connection! Seeing so many familiar faces made their day extra fun for me and I am so glad she found her person in Noah.

This is a Pinterest-worthy details shot. Aly and Noah kept it so classy, with a theme of modern elegance for their winter wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor.

Official shoes and party shoes were a must for this winter bride.

I love nothing more than seeing a groom incorporate some of his own family heritage into the day. Ok, maybe that’s not entire true. I probably love chocolate more, but you know what I mean!

Fluffy is the bride’s stuffed dog from childhood and has been at every major life event with her. Obviously, he needed to be part of her wedding day! He is clearly well loved and well traveled.

One of the bride’s favorite things about the groom is that he’s so encouraging. He shows that kind of love to his friends too!

I absolutely love these traditional touches! I’m so glad Noah rocked the kilt on his wedding day!

A large part of the reason the bride picked The Mill Lakeside Manor was because her family celebrated her parent’s 40th anniversary and her Nana’s 90th birthday there. She feels connected to her grandmother when she’s in this special place.

Putting on the “official” shoes!

Aly was beyond excited for her first look with her dad – so sweet! I love that we can see all the excited emotion in that expression.

Santa was in the lobby of the hotel. We had to stop for a picture! I think he was as excited to see a bride as our bride was to see him.

At the beginning of their relationship, Aly had an “overwhelming gut feeling” that Noah was the one. Clearly, she still feels that way about him.

Aly loves making Noah laugh and just being silly together (sometimes at her own expense!). Being able to laugh no matter what is the foundation of a strong marriage, and these two have it down already.

Aly said she felt like a bell in her dress, ding ding! I think we should go with belle instead 😉.

The groom’s grandmother’s name was Allison, and Aly’s grandmother’s AND the groom’s mom name is Jane. Her full name is Alyson Jane – she’s sure this means they were meant to be. I couldn’t agree more!

After having to reschedule from March to December, the bride and groom did such a great job embracing the Christmas vibes at The Mill Lakeside Manor.

If you are going to get married at The Mill Lakeside Manor, you must get pictures by the stunning lake! That’s the whole point, right?
Also, how stunning is the bridal bouquet?!

Because of the mild December day, we were able to grab some gorgeous outside shots!

All The Notebook vibes here. Aly and Noah not only share their names with the main characters from the famous love story, they also share having a scene with swans during one of their most romantic moments! We couldn’t pass this photo op up, it was too good.

We got the best of both worlds with the weather cooperating AND it being Christmas time. Not only did we get those great outdoor photos, we also got all the cozy vibes during our indoor portrait time.

This bride and groom were so excited to have something happy to celebrate – especially after being in quarantine for so long!

After having to postpone, this ceremony was highly anticipated, and Noah’s face says it all. So excited to see his bride finally walking down the aisle to him!

I love capturing the looks on groom’s face during their ceremony. They are always so genuine.

Noah and Aly were so excited to FINALLY get to say “I do” in front of all of their family and friends.

Congrats, you two! Well worth the wait!

LOOK at those phenomenal sunset colors over the water at The Mill Lakeside Manor.

Noah and his mom had a great time during their dance together.

Father-daughter dances are extra emotional when your family is as close as Aly’s.

Party time for these newlyweds!

I’m pretty sure Noah and Aly have already won you over, but this will make you love them even more. Their friends Brie and Joe had to modify their 2020 wedding and decided to forego the big celebration for a little one. Noah and Aly played their would-have-been wedding song and invited them to have their first dance. Everyone cried the whole time- rightfully so. The SWEETEST gesture between true friends.

Ain’t no party like a Williams party. I know this from experience.

I photographed Aly’s brother’s wedding, Emily and Mike, in 2019 and remembered their epic dance floor action. I was not disappointed for the 2nd Williams family wedding.

Impromptu napkin limbo. These poor guests have had so much party energy pent up after all this quarantine time!

Words of wisdom for the newlyweds from the couple at the wedding who won the anniversary dance. What a fun tradition!

It’s pretty rare that I get to photobomb my own shot, but someone called for a Hillsborough High School alumni shot so I’ll rock the sorority squat if the moment calls for it. It was so fun to not only know almost half the guest list but to have photographed the wedding of 5 of the couples in attendance! It kinda felt like a Jenna Perfette Photography reunion!

Thank goodness for an open bar and large dance floor.

Christmas vibes, a mild December day, a great party, and the sweetest bride and groom. We couldn’t have asked for anything more for this long-awaited wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor!

I am wishing Aly and Noah a lifetime full of laughs, trying new restaurants, traveling, and coming home to binge Netflix on the couch after all their adventures. They are such a caring, sweet couple, and they deserve all the happiness in the world.
Did you get engaged over the holidays? Congrats, and I’d love to chat with you about your wedding plans!
