On their first date, Will purchased flowers for Kim from a man at a flower shop nearby – totally unaware that the flower shop belonged to Kim’s family and the man he purchased flowers from was Kim’s dad! Fate? Maybe…
The two continued to dinner at a restaurant close by where another couple noticed the instant connection between the two. The couple even bought Kim and Will drinks, leading to great conversation lasting until almost 3 A.M.!
Fast forward some years, Kim and Will decided on forever and shopped for the perfect ring. Will had originally planned on waiting until they next vacation to propose, but he couldn’t make it even twelve hours before the ring began burning a hole in his pocket! The two spent the the rest of the day visiting their favorite places in New Hope. After almost proposing to Kim on the New Hope bridge, the two arrived at the Gazebo in front of Will’s home where he asked one of the most important questions of his life!
Here are some of my favorite moments from their Lambertville Station Inn Wedding:
Kim was one of the best brides ever! Such a dream – even on her wedding day, she was totally just taking in everything happening around her.
Kim fought back the tears while reading the note Will wrote for her on their wedding day.
Wifey or Whispy? Kim once joked with friends one time that if she had to choose, her stripper name would be “Whispy Rose.” Lesson learned, be careful what you innocently joke about today, it might make a comeback on your wedding day!
Kim shared this sweet moment with her mother-in-law to be. This photo is everything you want in a MIL!
Kim and Will met at Penn State, so they were sure to include their alma mater on their big day.
PSA: drinking from the bottle is only OK if it’s your wedding day.
What is bridal prep if you’re not enjoying bubbly and being silly?
The final moments between Will and his father before becoming a husband.
Final touches… and she’s a beautiful bride and ready for her Lambertville Station wedding!
Kim’s family owns Denis Flowers and Gifts in New Milford, NJ. Naturally, they took care of all of the florals for Kim and Will’s wedding and boy was it a sea of gorgeous florals!!!
Totally unscripted, totally real. The first look continues to be my favorite part of the wedding day!
Kim and Will were so present in the moment.
This bridal party knew how to bring their party faces…
Shooting on the bridge can be busy, but it worked! It was perfect spot for eskimo kisses.
Shooting Kim and Will was so natural. They were having so much fun, so in love – exactly how two should be on their wedding day.
No matter the outcome, flower girls will always be cute, even if she is terrified to walk down the aisle.
They incorporated a unity candle into their ceremony to signify the life they will begin together as one.
Substituting the traditional guest book, Kim and Will ordered a Photo Book filled with the engagement photos we shot together. We intentionally left some white space for guests to leave well wishes for the new Mr. and Mrs.
The views at every Lambertville Station wedding are always beautiful.
The Penn State Family! Kim and Will gathered with their friends from college – what a fun crew!
The dance floor was packed all night, maybe it was the open bar, maybe Kim and Will’s friends just know how to get down…
Photo booths are a great way to get your gusts up and moving. Silliness encouraged!
The day of their wedding was also Will’s father’s birthday! Being the selfless folks they are, Kim and Will had a cake ready for him.
Of course, they enjoyed their cake, too!
Their wedding was complete with a sparkler send-off!
