Kathy and Kyle had their amazing wedding at Lambertville Station Inn this past weekend. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, this was a party you just had to be there for! So much fun was had, we definitely didn’t want it to end.
I could go on and on, but I feel like the photos from their wedding day speak for themselves. So just scroll down and find out for yourself!
It’s customary to get your bride and groom to be to get one another a card or gift for them to open the day of the wedding, as they get ready. Kyle went above and beyond, and I award him ‘best gift ever.’ Yeah, I said it! What you’re seeing there chicas and chicos is a personalized and autographed copy by Chuck Palahniuk (yes, the man whose brain gave you Fight Club!).
It’s a lot of fun to be looking through the wedding photos the day after and getting to this point in the images. Both almost-bride and almost-groom looking snazzy, but with the teensiest of nerves underneath that calm demeanor. Knowing that in a few minutes they’re going to see each other for the first time that day, just a few moments before they officially become husband and wife. It’s amazing how much the tone can change and how visible this change is in pictures.
After that emotional first look, it was time for some bride and groom portraits!
You see that cutie patootie flower girl looking all innocent? That smiling face is about to go sour in 3…2…1…
I’m just kidding of course, but it’s pretty funny how the best kids can get hit with the waterworks when it comes time to walk down the aisle.
With the laughs had (and vows said) it was time for Kathy and Kyle to party. There’s timeline with a specific order for receptions that some people are very strict about. Kathy and Kyle are not those people, and that’s fine by me! And I completely agree. Why interrupt the festivities? I’m lucky I was able to get them alone after the ceremony for some additional photos.
When it comes time for the wedding reception, typically the order is: entrances, dances, speeches, fun times, cake, more fun times. I think Kathy and Kyle’s went: entrances, speeches, fun times, fun times, dancing, fun times, cake, fun times!
