Sometimes you just know right away when you’ve met “the one.” Such was the case for Steven, when on his very first date with Kristina, he asked her what her ring size was “in case this ends up working out.” She almost immediately answered “8” because she felt so at ease with him. The two feel that they are the male/female versions of one another, both being first generation US citizens to Italian parents, all having been born and raised in Italy. Everything about the Italian culture brought them together.
The Proposal
A year and a half later at the waterfront in Hoboken, Steven surprised Kristina by dropping to one knee to pop the big question. It was everything Kristina could have hoped for – surprising, beautiful, and romantic. After the proposal, Steven had set up a romantic dinner for the two of them to celebrate. Once they were seated, doors suddenly opened next to their table, revealing both of their families there to surprise Kristina.
Here’s some favorites from their beautiful wedding at Addison Park!

Her best day ever – feasting on donuts.
It takes a village!
First look with dad is always an emotional one.
Kristina reading an emotional card from Steven moments before the ceremony.
Kristina’s paternal grandparents both passed, so she was carrying a photo of them on her bouquet charm.
Fun fact – Steven’s sister, Christina, married a Steven. So now there are two “Kristinas” and Stevens in the family! Talk about fate!
This is the same church that Kristina’s parents (and aunt and uncle) got married in!
Kristina loved the clean look of Addison Park and knew it’d be perfect for her wedding.
With a veil this beautiful, you just have to show it off.
Kristina’s mom did the bouquets for this wedding beautifully. A whole lotta love tied in there.
Kristina and Steven both had some really emotional first parent dances.
The best man was the bride’s brother, so he had lots of dirt and good stories on both sides. He and Steven are so close, a running joke was that the two of them were actually getting married. Can confirm – Kristina and Steven were in fact the ones to get married.
It always seems like a good idea at the time, but these are gonna hurt later.
Something tells me this may have been fixed.
What’s a wedding day without some fire? Addison Park knows how to do weddings right.
