Summer Garden Proposal – Chris & Vicky

Chris decided that the perfect place for his summer proposal to his girlfriend Vicky would be at The Great Lawn garden. He and I had met up ahead of time to go over the game plan for the day, but just in case we made sure to have our iPhone locations on and shared in the event that plans changed last minute. Thankfully, that wasn’t necessary and things went off without a hitch.

This is one of my favorite parts of a proposal. The moment she realizes what is happening but the world around her completely fades away. This is the part where I know I can get as close as I need to since she’s only focused on him!

I’d say this was the reaction Chris was hoping for! When the moment completely takes you over and shock set in.

The big YES!!

I know this is the moment that the groom-to-be has envisioned for a long time. He finally gets to call her his fiancée!

The moment when the guy points me out to his new fiancee is one of my favorites! Just when she thought the surprise it up, he reveals one more. The moment has all been captured!

I love sneaking in a few portraits just after the big moment.

Chris did a pretty great job with this ring. I love that rose gold engagement rings are making a comeback! Did you know rose gold was a popular choice back in the 1930s?
