One of the questions I get most often is, “Why photography?” Among the many reasons I can come up with and tangents I can go on, this story explains it quite well…
I worked with Courtney many years before my professional photography career took off. Back in the day, I half heartedly said to future potential brides, “book me for your big day!” in hopes that maybe it would actually stick; and with Courtney – it did! I’ll forever be grateful to my friends, co workers and clients who supported me long before my Instagram feed was a thing.
When she reached out to me to photograph her wedding, I felt honored that she remembered my work and saw value in it even with only a few notches on my belt. It also didn’t hurt that Courtney and Nate are just a totally funny, goofy and vibrant couple to work with! I’d love to take credit for all Courtney’s beautiful smiles, but if I’m being real with you, it’s because Nate makes her laugh CONSTANTLY, making my job that much easier (Thanks, Nate!)
But really, this is one of those “why photography” moments – not only do I get to capture some of the most intimate milestones in people’s lives, but my photos allow me to connect with those I work with to create a lasting memory of their most cherished moments.
Without further ado, here are some of my favorites from Courtney and Nate’s intimate wedding at Eno Terra:

As a unique touch, the bride carried this beautiful wooden bouquet, handmade from Etsy.
While there was no formal bridal party, both the bride and groom’s moms took part in the intimate Eno Terra wedding by standing at their sides.
Courtney and Nate handmade these cute and creative, personalized fire starters for their guests to take home.
Courtney’s beautiful sapphire ring is the perfect match to her glowing personality (and her dress, too!)
When someone taps a fork to a glass, it’s time for a kiss! We’ll forgive Nate for not knowing about that tradition. In his own words, “Hey – it’s my first wedding!” complete with a silly goof ball kiss.
Showing off his new bling!
Several friends and family members congratulated the happy couple with cheerful and personal toasts.
