Branchburg Newborn Session in Winter

Any parents of babies born in December agree, they are by far the best gift from Santa! Aviva’s mom, Morgan, contacted me because she was looking for a session at their home in Branchburg. Since it was the winter, we knew we’d be strictly shooting inside but that we would also be including her fur-sister in the photos, too! For all of you pet lovers out there, you know your fur baby has already stolen a place in your heart and must be part of the new family! Here are a few fav’s from this Branchburg newborn’s session!

Itty bitty baby features must always be documented!

I can’t help but wonder what the pup was thinking in this shot… probably a little annoyed that this new baby is stealing all the attention!!

I’m not sure where the expression “sleeping like a baby” came from. Parents of newborns PROMPTLY correct that babies do not sleep well any time I use that saying in front them. Haha!
