Amanda and Ryan met while they were both students at Rutgers University and have been together ever since. Bringing them back to their roots, Ryan proposed in April 2018 on the Rutgers campus by surprising Amanda with a picture perfect picnic (say that 5 times fast). I normally only get to hear stories about their proposal and journey to the wedding day, but Ryan actually contacted me prior to proposing and ask me to capture the moment she said yes! It was such an honor to be a part of their proposal, engagement session, and now their wedding day! Ryan and Amanda have a way of making you feel like family and I was no exception!
Here’s some favorite shots from their spring Bridgewater Manor wedding!

Ryan & Amanda spent their first week of married life in Hawaii! If anyone deserved an amazing honeymoon, it’s definitely these two! Here are a couple favorites from their day.

“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a sixpence in her shoe.” Many people know the first part, but not many know about the coin! Ryan’s mom gave Amanda this sixpence coin, a symbol of prosperity and luck.
This gorgeous shade of pink was the perfect color for a beautiful spring day!
Mom was all smiles for this special moment. I can only guess that she’d imagined this day since Amanda was just a little girl.
Grooms can get in on the fun details, too! Ryan wore these black and pink polka dot socks to match with the bridesmaids dresses.
The bride and groom weren’t the only ones sharing a first kiss. When you get a Lombardi trophy from the groom, it’s tradition that you kiss it first!
This was probably the brightest church I’ve ever shot in before! Hallelujah!

Love all the little touches that come together for a spring wedding at Bridgewater Manor!
Something you don’t see at every wedding – a beautifully choreographed first dance! Might I add, perfectly executed!! Nice work, guys!
You can always count on the Best Man for some good stories from yesteryear. TJ didn’t disappoint!
The feeling of terror when the bouquet is coming right at you.
The dance floor was packed all night with fellow alums. Brings the Rutgers love story full circle!
