I’ve worked with this fun loving family a number of times before; once for Mom’s milestone birthday and again for Nick and Amy’s engagement session and wedding. Does this mean I get to call myself the “official family photographer?” I was thrilled to be asked by Megan to photograph her sister Caitlyn’s summer proposal at Natirar. Kyle had planned a picnic with Caitlyn and Megan (one of his and Caitlyn’s favorite pastimes), and Megan stepped away to “take a call.” That was Kyle’s cue to pop the question.
Typically, I’ve never met the bride-to-be before, so I’m not really all that concerned about her seeing me. I was a little extra nervous about being spotted and inadvertently letting the cat out of the bag since I’ve met Caitlyn multiple times before. Thankfully, Kyle was a total champ and the plan ran just as rehearsed.
The couple is planning a Fall 2022 wedding at the beautiful Sterlingbook Farms.

I may have sprinted to get a better angle for this proposal. Fortunately for me, Caitlyn was pretty focused on the sweet words of her husband-to-be.
