Session Location | Tinicum Park – Erwinna, PA

Tinicum Park is located at 963 River Rd, Erwinna, PA 18920. Its most widely know for the Polo matches that the park hosts throughout the years, but if you talk to a photographer, they will tell you how beautiful it is for a family or engagement session!

To my knowledge, Tinicum Park does not require a photography permit. There are bathrooms on site.

If wide open spaces, big trees and a relaxed country feel sound like your kind of backdrop, Tinicum Park in Erwinna, PA is a beautiful spot for a photo session. This Bucks County park has plenty of natural scenery and gives us lots of room to wander around and find different little pockets for photos.

The open grassy areas are perfect for those walking, laughing and movement shots I love. Nothing too complicated in the background, just lots of pretty greenery and plenty of space to let you be yourselves.

One of my favorite things about a location like Tinicum Park is how different it can look throughout the year. Lush greens in the warmer months turn into those beautiful golden and earthy tones as we get into fall. Same park, completely different feel!

There are also plenty of mature trees throughout the park, giving us a nice mix of open sunlight and shady spots. Having both is always helpful because it gives us some flexibility depending on the time of day and where the sun decides to cooperate with us.

Tinicum Park also has a little bit of that classic Bucks County charm mixed into all the nature. The historic barn and rustic elements give us another look without having to leave the park. We can go from clean and natural to something with a little more texture and character within the same session.

This is the kind of location that works especially well if you want your photos to feel casual and comfortable. We’ll walk around, find the good light and let things happen naturally. No need to worry about what to do with your hands — I’ve got you covered. The goal is always for the session to feel less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out together somewhere really pretty.
