Stephanie and Alex’s engagement shoot took place in their home in Flagtown, NJ. Their home was the perfect location–the very house that the two got engaged in! One day after they closed on the new house, Alex proposed to Stephanie by painting “Will you marry me?” on the wall, and decorating the room with rose petals, champagne, and candles. Stephanie said yes so quickly, they were not even sure if the paint was dry yet!
Though their engaged life started in their new house, Stephanie and Alex originally went to the same high school, but their paths never crossed. Years later, they would meet in what they called the “modern way” via a dating app and connect over wine and Alex’s new puppy, Bella.
They’ve continued this love of a bottle of wine–or two! But, now, their dates include dancing, Italian takeout, sushi, sitting by the fire pit, and even the occasional gingerbread house competition with Alex crowned the winner. Due to the structural integrity of her gingerbread house, it’s a good thing this bride-to-be works in HR and not construction, they say.
It was fitting to celebrate their engagement in the home where they would start their lives together and make these wonderful memories. Congratulations to Stephanie and Alex!
