Weehawken Winter Proposal – Edgar & Christine

Proposals

Winter proposals can be a little tricky as there is always the looming fear of snowy weather. After a near record breaking amount of snow this February, we were all sweating this one out. For Edgar’s winter proposal to Christine, he chose the Chart House in Weehawken with the Manhattan skyline in the background. Thankfully we dodged the snow bullet, but still had a little bit of the aftermath to clean up. Before they arrived, we had a spot shoveled out, just for them, so Edgar could propose according to plan, on the patio of the Chart House.

Here’s some favorites from their winter proposal against the Manhattan skyline in Weehawken!

Both Edgar and Christine are nurses, so wearing a mask is just second nature to them.

The restaurant was right behind me, and as soon as Christine said “yes,” the whole place erupted in cheers and claps.

Spotted!

The Manhattan skyline is a classic backdrop.

Did Edgar do a great job with this ring selection or what?

We followed up the proposal with a couple portraits. Edgar and I spoke ahead of time and he originally wanted to propose after dinner; but with the sunlight, I suggested we do it beforehand so we would have this beautiful, romantic lighting.
