Newlyweds Becca and Grant originally bonded over shows like The Office and 30 Rock. Since they got engaged on New Year’s, you could say they were channeling their inner Liz Lemon and her “New Year’s resolutions…to say ‘yes.’ Yes to love, yes to life…” On New Year’s Eve, they had dinner at Ruth’s Chris, followed by a romantic proposal afterward at the home they bought together. Grant proposed with a ring with a diamond belonging to Becca’s grandmother that was gifted to her from her mom.
The bride and groom enjoy hiking with their dog Zeus, traveling to the beach, trying new restaurants, visiting the farmer’s market, going to the pool together, and of course binge-watching their favorite shows. Becca loves Grant’s laugh, sense of humor, intelligence, and determinedness. While Grant may always be down for an adventure, Becca says he’s also good at calming her and keeping her grounded. Grant says he loves Becca for the snort she does when she laughs–his words, not mine!–as well as her kindness and expert vacation-planning skills.
While they met all the way in Denver, Colorado, they had their wedding ceremony at the groom’s childhood home in Morristown, NJ! The beautiful backyard was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding ceremony with themes of peach, white, and pink. For their wedding, they were most excited to have a beautifully simple and intimate celebration of their love with their closest friends and family, and their dog Zeus!
