Spring Extended Family Photos at Home- Hillsborough, NJ

I recently had the pleasure of capturing a truly special extended family session in the family’s backyard. It was a chilly day but the sun was shining, and the yard was in full bloom, providing the perfect backdrop for the gathering. This was a momentous occasion, bringing together four generations for a beautiful session that included great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, and children.

Right around the Easter holiday, this session was a rare opportunity for everyone to be in the same place at the same time, with family members traveling from Connecticut and Colorado. It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of coming together, especially when loved ones are spread out across the country.

During the session, I captured a variety of groupings, from the entire extended family to each individual family to just the kids. Each combination highlighted the unique bonds within the family, from the wise smiles of the great-grandparents to the playful energy of the youngest generation.

This extended family session was truly a celebration of togetherness, love, and the special connections that span generations.
