Somerset County Courthouse, November Family Photos- Somerville, NJ

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to photograph this sweet family twice now. It’s always fun to see how, 3 years later, the kids have grown up so much and they aren’t “little” kids anymore. After enduring a pandemic, time seems to have gone even faster, if that’s possible, and mom knew they were due for updated photos.

We chose downtown Somerville for the location for the photos. It offers up a place with a variety of backgrounds and some space for the kids to be their silly selves. I always was to make sure we are giving the kids – even if they aren’t little toddlers running around – an environment to be themselves. I want the family to look back on these photos in 5 or 10 or 25 years and see their personalities showing through. I think we achieved our goal and they will not only have beautiful photos for their holiday cards but also images to hang in their home.
