Forging ahead with the 30 day blog challenge, these images come from December. Remember when I promised I’d follow up on Kristen and Matt’s Maternity session – A Beautiful Bump? I am a woman of my word so here she is. Three months after our maternity shoot, Kristen and Matt, along with their family, welcomed me back to capture their brand-ey new baby girl with a newborn photography shoot!
I don’t think they could have asked for a better gift for Christmas. 10 fingers and 10 toes and an adorable little smile!
I love the little family moments. Just hanging out. And it really is such an honor to be a part of such an important and intimate moment in these two lives.
On a completely unrelated note, check out the paint job in Mom and Dad’s room. They painted stripes in very similar shades but in different finishes so in the right light you see the ever so subtle striped pattern. I was totally blown away by their attention to detail and wish I had that much patience.
Not your traditional shot but gosh I just love it! Even at 2 weeks old, Madison was super squirmy and made me very nervous. Always good to have Dad around to catch any baby acrobatics gone crazy.
Can’t help but wonder what she’s thinking about. What she’s going to grow up to be, so much to see in those eyes. I hope the family calls me again when she’s older, especially if there’s an older brother or sister in the works, at a much later date. Don’t worry mom! (Is that weird yet?)
There’s something so beautiful about Dad’s affectionate hold on his baby girl.
