This little guy sure knows how to make an entrance. For his very first appearance into the world he was 12 days late. This may not seem like all that much time but to an expectant mother and some very anxious grandparents, 12 days is an eternity! Thankfully it just gave him more time to grow into a strong, heathy baby… with some serious pipes! Jack’s newborn family photo session included mom and dad and lots of snuggles and love.
I can just hear him saying, “Power to the babies!”
Since Jack was a December baby I pull out of my bag of tricks the golden ticket… a heated throw blanket. The new world is a tough place for them to adjust to so as long as we keep the cozy and warm, we have a pretty good chance at getting a happy or sleeping baby. I’ll take either!
Most newborn family photo sessions are usually interrupted by at least one feeding or changing, nothing we’re not used to!
Most newborn sessions are within the first 2 weeks of life. This way they stay sleeping and we can capture their features while they are still super tiny!
The first of many many snuggles and kisses from Dad and Mom.
The 10 tiniest toes!
A throw back to his nautical themed baby shower.
