Nassau Inn, Fall Wedding Photos- Princeton, NJ

Weddings

Mark and Melissa’s October wedding at the Nassau Inn in Princeton, NJ, was a celebration filled with love, laughter, and a touch of Halloween fun. Their love story began during the pandemic when they met on Bumble, and from their first date, it was clear that they were meant for each other. With lockdown restrictions in place, Mark impressed Melissa with a homemade dinner of short ribs and mashed potatoes, setting the tone for a relationship built on shared experiences and mutual admiration.

As a couple, Mark and Melissa have always enjoyed spending time together watching movies and TV shows. From “House of the Dragon” to “The Boys” and their most recent favorite, “Shogun,” they find joy in sharing these moments together. They also share a passion for rooting for the Sixers and exploring local eateries, never passing up the chance to visit an ice cream shop. Their relationship is built on a foundation of humor, with inside jokes that keep them laughing every day.

The realization that they were each other’s “one” came not in a grand romantic gesture but after their first argument. It was in that moment that they both understood how deeply they cared for each other and that they couldn’t imagine life without one another. This bond was further solidified when Mark proposed to Melissa during a vacation in Maine. On a dock overlooking Moosehead Lake, Mark got down on one knee, and the rest is history.

Melissa had a hand in choosing her engagement ring, guiding Mark toward her favorite jewelry designer to create something unique. This personal touch was just one of the many ways they’ve made their relationship truly their own.

When it came time to plan their wedding, Mark and Melissa fell in love with the Nassau Inn as soon as they visited. The historic charm and colonial architecture of Princeton perfectly matched their vision for their big day. With a wedding date close to Halloween, they embraced the season by incorporating pumpkins into their decor, adding a playful and festive element to their celebration.

Their wedding day was everything they had hoped for—a gathering of family and friends to celebrate their love. The Nassau Inn provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. As they look back on their wedding day, Mark and Melissa will forever remember the joy of bringing their loved ones together to witness the beginning of their new life as husband and wife.
