Leanne & Gautam celebrated with family and friends at their 3rd wedding! Yes, these guys have quite a unique story! They were married exactly 2 months prior on 12.14.13 in Texas where they had an intimate traditional American ceremony and then a traditional Indian ceremony honoring Gautam’s heritage. So that brings us to wedding number 3! They kept the festivities going with a reception for their loved ones at Meadow Wood Manor in New Jersey. Lemme tell you these people really know how to party! They had fire, Bollywood dancers, a photo booth and they even showed the film from their TX ceremony to share with everyone in attendance. Thank you so much Leanne and Gautam for inviting me to capture the gorgeous day!

I love hearing about my couple’s love stories and Leanne was kind enough to share with me a little bit about how she and Gautam met. They were both students at NJIT – he was her RA (ah yes I love the stories that start like that!). He was studying engineering and she asked him to tutor her. As fate would have it she found more than just a tutor. Now, for the proposal…Gautam put her ring inside one of those poppers you pull open at Christmas time (those things that look like giant tootsie rolls). Everyone opened theirs up making sure Leanne went last and when she opened hers the ring went flying across the room, he got down on one knee and the rest is history!
Leanne’s Brother, Chris, being his goofy self! Talk about a fun bunch of guys!
All dressed up and ready to go! Check out Leanne’s beautiful curls!!
No family photo is complete if the fur-siblings aren’t there too. He’s been in the family since Leanne was 12!
I know Leanne and Gautam will probably always look back and remember they got married during one of the snowiest winters on the books. 14 inches of snow the day before their big day. Pretty sure that’s the good-est of luck!
The largest group photo (I believe) I’ve ever taken! The entire guest list pictured here in the lobby of the Meadow Wood Manor!
It was only fitting that we incorporate a heart for their Valentine’s day reception!
Incorporating both American and Indian traditions made for a fun and visually gorgeous night.
Dhoom Entertainment kept this party on their feet!
I thought this was so sweet, handwritten love notes are the best!
