When you dream of a summer wedding, you think of beautiful blue skies, lush green grass and cool evenings in front of a fire, and Lauren & Justin had exactly that for their Natirar Mansion wedding. Being asked to photograph someone’s wedding is an incredible honor but it’s even that much more special when you know the couple and get to see some familiar faces on the dance floor.
Natirar had just re-opened their doors after undergoing an amazing and meticulous renovation of the mansion and I was so impressed not only by the space but also the service provided at the wedding! Everything inside is shiny and new and everywhere I turned was another beautiful spot for wedding portraits.
I could ramble on and on, but we all know what you came here for… to check out the stunning photographs of the new Mr. and Mrs. Harris!

The elegant and stately feel of Natirar as a New Jersey wedding venue is clear in every room. They’ve thought of everything, every inch of the place is photogenic. This space and mantle piece was perfect for wedding portraits!
Hanging out and patiently waiting (no fluttery nerves here folks!) before they put their finishing touches on. How cute is this wedding gift that Justin got Lauren? Who knows where it’s from, is it a book, song lyric, poem!? Hover over the image for a hint to the answer!
A little assistance from the mother of the bride is necessary sometimes, especially when you have that many buttons on your wedding dress!
How cute are those little heel covers? She may look delicate and feminine but Lauren was an all terrain bride… these little puppies let us walk through the grass with no sinking in & no scuffing or damaging those designer bridal heels! Compliments of the amazing staff at Natirar who have truly though of everything!
How often is a bar so stunning that it makes for the perfect backdrop for groomsmen portraits? The gents got ready at the Ninety Acres restaurant space adjacent to the mansion – you have to check it out if you’ve never been!! (don’t worry, no wedding attire required!)
Such cute moments between Lauren and Justin during their first look.
Aren’t they a fine looking bunch?!
Sneaking off for a little moment alone in the ceremony space before their guests arrive. I couldn’t help capturing this moment, the light was epic!
Weddings days always seem to fly by. Getting ready seems to drag on for the bride and groom, minutes feel like hours. Then, poof, you see each other, take a few pictures and before you know it you’re walking down the aisle. Seriously, where does the time go!
Doesn’t your heart just melt from Justin’s face as he sees Lauren come down the aisle?
Talk about a view! Look at those rolling hills and stunning blue skies! Justin’s brother Brandon was a busy guy that day. Not only is he the brother of the groom, he’s also the best man and officiant! And he did a stellar job! Good to know you have a fall back career, right Brandon? Maybe the Mansion at Natirar is hiring wedding officiants. 😉
And finally… the pièce de résistance… the gorgeous brand spankin’ new ballroom! Yes, that’s a living green wall. It looks so perfect I just about had to stick my nose in it to believe it was real! As someone who can barley keep a succulent alive, I bow down to those in charge of taking care of this masterpiece!! Natirar really knows how to make a mansion have a personal feel for weddings.
You know the party is good when you go right into the festivities! But we couldn’t forget the father of the bride and mother of the groom dances!
Let this be a lesson to you, if you’re not living life like these two grandparents then you aren’t doing it right! You had to pull grandma off the dance floor and a cane wasn’t going to stop grandpa from joining her!
I know photo booths are all the rage for wedding receptions but I’m digging having a caricaturist! It’s a nice memento to have, and everyone secretly wonders what they’ll look like and wants one, even if they won’t admit it.
And those familiar faces I was talking about earlier… I’m not used to seeing these kids all gussied up, but boy do they shine up nicely 😉
And a sweet end to the most beautiful Natirar mansion wedding. Not many people are wishing for the summer to be over, but that might just be the case for Justin and Lauren. These two lovebirds are heading to Greece and Italy in September, after two months of newlywed bliss (Thanks to the amazing Stacey Minton at Cruise Planners!)
A little shout out to some of their other vendors who helped make this beautiful wedding at Natirar Mansion.
