Kerry and JJ finally got to celebrate their marriage at Edgewood Country Club during their June wedding! These two sports-lovers have literally known each other their whole lives because their parents have been friends for a long time. On their first date, after reconnecting in 2017, (which Kerry wasn’t sure was a date!) they ended up chatting for hours on end. They haven’t stopped talking since.
Their proposal happened against the backdrop of the NYC skyline, and JJ had one of his groomsmen there to capture the moment between the two. They had previously attempted a hike in that location and it didn’t pan out, became a funny story for the two of them, and therefore a special spot. Can you think of anything more romantic?
They are so excited to now call each other husband and wife! No way 2020 postponements or a little rain in the forecast was going to keep this couple down. They were all smiles on their big day!

Kerry was all smiles throughout bride prep. I know how excited she was to finally call JJ her husband, but I think she was really smiling because the natural light in her suite was killer!!
Quick shout out to the AMAZING staff, Eric, Candice and Joy, at Edgewood Country Club during this June wedding. They were truly exceptional!! Joy was the bridal attendant, she was a Jill of all trades, and she was a huge part of what made the day run absolutely seamless. She was so good that I insisted Kerry must name her first child Joy. Sure hope she has a girl.

After months of postponement, this was the moment they had been waiting for!
I can only imagine this was the moment Mikey asked Grandma, “when is the part where we get to eat cake.” I don’t think he was happy about her answer.
I love the blending of traditions and religions. I’ve never witnessed a Jewish breaking of the glass ritual inside a Catholic Church. Mazel Tov!
The Edgewood Country Club had no shortage of beautiful locations for bridal party portraits!
In the days leading up to their June wedding at Edgewood Country Club, the forecast wasn’t looking so hot. I can only guess how many times Kerry refreshed the hourly forecast on her Weather app. Fortunately, we had beautiful soft lighting, thanks to the cloud cover. They also made for this cool, moody sky!
Joy took us to all the cool spots along the golf course at Edgewood Country Club. A beautiful couple, perfect weather, and an impeccable golf course. Yeah, I’d call that a win!

Nothing gets a party started like a Hora.
After the year we’ve had, the friends and family of the bride and groom were ready to PARTY!
Remember that tumultuous weather I was telling you about? Well, it gave us quite the sunset. Thank goodness for golf courses having a low horizon and a perfect view of the sherbert skies!
One of the most memorable features at the Edgewood Country Club is their massive bar. Makes you feel like you are living the life of the Great Gatsby.
Couldn’t help but get a photo with one of the greatest couples of all time, Kate and Adam. I photographed their wedding in 2015 and have pulled them into the friend zone ever since. Adam has known JJ for many years, so he gets all the credit for putting me in touch with Kerry and JJ!
We also had a rainbow along with that killer sunset. It was pure luck that I just happened to run outside to grab something from my car and spotted the rainbow. We made it just in time!
Also, when you share a name with a famous brand of sodas, it only makes sense to give them out as favors at your wedding!
After 4 hours of an open bar, this is where we stand. A good time was had by all at this Edgewood Country Club June wedding!
This dessert-loving bride and groom spent much of 2018 and 2019 attending other people’s weddings and had to deal with postponements through 2020, but they came out on the other side stronger as a couple for it. Kerry knows that JJ will make every day with her better, and JJ knows that Kerry will stop at nothing to do what she’s set out to accomplish. Their wedding was no exception.
They were beyond excited to have their turn to celebrate with their family and friends. Edgewood Country Club was such a great place for a June wedding! Kerry and JJ had such a great party – so worth it after a long wait! I know they will never forget it.
