Like many couples today, Jessica and Bill met online just about 2 years ago. They felt an instant connection with one another and Bill’s silly personality perfectly balances and compliments Jessica.
The Proposal
Bill and Jessica had talked about getting married well before the official proposal happened. He asked if she’d want to wear his mother’s engagement ring, and he even asked her parents for their permission for him to propose. On a visit to the Willowwood Arboretum (a potential wedding venue Jessica had in mind, unbeknownst to Bill), they decided to walk across to Bamboo Brook. Sitting beside the water, Bill asked Jessica to marry him, and soon after, 2 birds flew overhead, which Jessica saw as a sign from above.

This special necklace was a gift from the groom’s mom to the bride, featuring a J and a W for their initials.
Jessica got ready in the home she grew up in, in the backyard she played in as a little girl.
Jessica’s grandmother put aside this bell for her before she passed away as a wedding day gift. It was a special moment for her to feel like her grandmother was with her on that special day.
Being the ring bearer is hard, stressful work.
We had perfect weather for their wedding, the kind of weather you dream about when planning a spring wedding.
A beautiful homage to the couples who came before them.
Jessica and Bill are both avid ballroom dancers, so their first dance was a beautiful performance.
Jessica’s parents were just days away from celebrating their 40th anniversary, there was a special song played just for them.
