I first spoke to Anthony a couple weeks prior while he was formulating his Hoboken waterfront proposal plan. The ring was all ready to go (thanks Roman Jewelers!) but the plan still needing some tweaking. With the help of Google Maps aerial photos we began scheming our exact locations, where I would be, where he would be and what we’d each be wearing. Yeah, I’ll admit this sounds a little creepy but it’s all in the name of love!
So I knew Anthony would be wearing khakis and a blazer (lookin’ quite dapper by the way!) and he knew I’d be in my classic yellow coat but even still, my heart was pounding the moment up to him going down on one knee.

I love the moment after the initial shock wears off and the groom to be starts divulging all the things he’s been doing the past few weeks to make it all happen and also to make sure she didn’t find out. This moment also included the fact that we pulled into the parking garage at the SAME TIME. I saw him and wondered, is this him?! Fortunately he didn’t notice me and we didn’t have to play it off like we didn’t know what was going on. I’m a terrible actress so thank goodness the stars aligned for this!
Anthony asked if I could bring some champagne and glasses. I wish I could take credit for the idea because it made for some great photos. I might steal this idea for future proposals. Thank Ant!
