Ashley & Rene first met at the Jersey City private school they both worked at. Ashley described their first date as unbelievably perfect. After a teacher seminar in NYC, the two lovebirds decided to spend the day in the city and had a picnic in a park alongside the Hudson River. It sounds so romantic!
After the proposal, Ashley told me she was not expecting Rene to propose that day. She thought they were going out to celebrate her birthday but Rene had other plans. Not only did he plan the cutest proposal, he also planned a small engagement party for Ashley that weekend. Rene had been planning this proposal for months now. What a guy!
Rene could not have picked a better location to propose. The boat Rene proposed on passed by NYC, Jersey City, and Hoboken. This couple first met in Jersey City, the boat passed Chelsea Pier where they had their first kiss, and then the boat went through Hudson Yards and Liberty State Park where they went on many of their dates. Ashley told Rene it felt like the boat took them on a tour of their relationship. I’m not sure if it can get any cuter than this.
