Small weddings maybe were never part of the original plan, but sometimes they turn out to be exactly what you were truly looking for. That was definitely the case for Amanda and Eric, who opted for an intimate micro wedding at a beautiful private farm in Hillsborough, NJ.

Amanda & Eric decided to start the day off with an intimate first look, just the two of them…
…then Eric’s daughter, Peyton, couldn’t contain her excitement and burst out of the house to join in.
We were originally going to go for a first look with Peyton and her Dad, but sometimes the most carefully orchestrated moments just happen where they happen and take place in front of a Nissan Murano. ? The genuine look on her face made it all worth it.
The couple are friends with the owners of this gorgeous farm in Hillsborough and they graciously allowed them to use the space for the micro wedding.
Thanks to Lucy at House of Blooms for the beautiful bouquet.
Following Peyton’s lead, they walked down the “aisle” hand in hand, a growing trend for these small and intimate micro weddings.
Peyton had to corral Gus here, he was having a bit too much fun during the festivities.
Typical mom. She’s got Gus, the flower girl basket, the bouquet, AND recording on her phone. The embodiment of “if you want something done, ask a busy person.”
These classic farm locations provide such a perfect spot for micro weddings, and this Hillsborough farm did not disappoint.
