Heather and Chris first met through a mutual friend one day at a Panera. They became fast friends and their love for each other grew the more they got to know each other. Just 8 short years after they started dating, Chris asked the big question on their anniversary after dinner.
From my first meeting with Heather I could tell exactly what kind of bride she would be. The type of bride who would have a classic and elegant look, a day without a lot of pomp and circumstance, and a focus on the guests having a great time. As soon as I arrived, while the girls were getting ready the mood in the room said it all. The ladies were having a great time just enjoying the moment and reveling in the beautiful day upon them. It didn’t hurt that we had a gorgeous low humidity mild summer day. That would put any bride at ease!
Here’s some favorites from their summer wedding at David’s Country Inn.

David’s Country Inn had so many great spots to place Heather’s dress. A dress this beautiful needed a space just as elegant as it is
What are sisters for than to make that dress just right!
I can just imagine what Heather must be thinking, a little nervous butterflies, a lot of excitement.
The pastor was a close friend of Chris’s father who recently passed. There was no question that he would be the perfect person to marry Heather and Chris.
“So about those flower petals I dropped for you. Yeaaaahh, I’m going to need those back”
Perhaps Cruella de Vil made the car famous, but these two pups had the perfect get away.
David’s Country Inn is the perfect spot for a summer wedding with tons of historic character.
David’s Country Inn recently renovated their outdoor space and added in this awesome outdoor fireplace and tons of colorful plants.
Chris shared a special dance with his daughter. its no surprise he’s got that huge smile on his face
I thought those were just Shirley Temples she was pounding back, now I’m not so sure.
Whenever a groom makes this face during cake cutting I always brace for impact. I knew chris was far too much of a gentleman to actually do it, but a little tease makes for a great photo.
