Fourth of July Wedding – Amanda & Patrick

Weddings

Amanda and Patrick were beyond excited to celebrate at their Fourth of July Wedding with family and friends!

This absolutely lovely couple was introduced to each other by their moms! They moved into the same complex, became great friends, set their kids up, and the rest is history!

The Proposal

Our groom, Patrick, planned the perfect, surprise (or so he thought) proposal. Our bride, Amanda, caught on between him making the reservation and his hours of prep to get ready before their dinner. When it hadn’t happened by the end of dinner, she actually asked, “so when are you going to propose?” Patrick’s coy response was, “you never know!”

Amanda tells the rest of the story like this:

After dinner, on our walk back to the car, he came to my side of the door and said to me, “I have an answer to your question.”

He got down on one knee and asked. He knew I would not want a public display, and this private moment was so special.

Cue the collective “awwww.”

They are so great together, and it was beautiful to capture all the amazing moments at their wedding! I know they’ll be having Marvel movie marathons and playing Tetris 99 on their Nintendo Switch for many, many years to come.

When your wedding is on the Fourth of July, the color choices are obvious. This couple did a great job turning the traditional red, white, and blue into a show-stopper wedding palette.

Amanda’s bridal bouquet was stunning! No kindergarten classroom 4th of July theme vibes here! The muted, richer cranberry, white, and navy tones gave such an elegant feel.

Being on the water for both wedding day and this national holiday felt just right. Amanda and Patrick loved that the Lambertville Station Inn would give their guests the feeling of a mini getaway!

The ceremony space at Lambertville Station is the perfect place for a first look. Amanda and Patrick know they complete each other – these smiles say nothing less than “I’m on your team for life.”

Look at how that cranberry pops against the navy dresses! Fun fact: there are ACTUAL blueberries in those bouquets! Because there aren’t very many blue flowers, this was a fun, natural way to incorporate the color. So unique!

That veil – INCREDIBLE!

When you are wearing the most stunning navy shoes during your wedding, you make sure everyone sees them as much as possible!

We took advantage of some of the most adorable spots in the town of Lambertville! I have a feeling this shot might end up printed and on a wall one day!

Even after doing a first look, that moment you see each other from across the aisle and know you’re about to be married is one of the most unforgettable of the day. So beautiful and emotional for these two.

Such fantastic reactions to a funny moment during the ceremony. Love capturing these smiles of family and friends all celebrating together!

Mr. & Mrs.!

Mr. & Mrs… on their cake! So cool!

Cocktail hour on the river can’t be beat anytime, but to be enjoying it during a Fourth of July wedding is extra special!

Amanda and Patrick bonded over their cats on their very first date while having burgers and beers.

No way was this wedding going to pass without their furry friends making an appearance.

Feline signature cocktails? Yes, please! Such a fun way to incorporate them into the day.

This husband and wife duo will never forget doing their choreographed first dance for their friends and family. It did not disappoint!

The sunset during this Fourth of July wedding was EPIC. Of course, we can always count on Lambertville Station for a good one but LOOK at that!

When you haven’t been able to dance with your friends in over a year, you go all out!

This bride and groom got all the attention they deserved out on the dance floor. So much fun!

The perfect ending to a Fourth of July wedding – sparklers!

Amanda and Patrick were so thrilled to experience a phenomenal wedding day and celebrate with all of their family and friends around.

Adding a little extra flair to your celebration by having it on a holiday? I’m sure this bride and groom would highly recommend it! Let’s talk soon.
