Family Session Location | Nevius Street Bridge Raritan, NJ

Session Locations

Connecting Raritan, NJ and Hillsborugh, NJ, the Nevius Street Bridge is a pedestrian bridge that is on the National Register of Historic Places. The nearby water pumping station looks more like a castle than a utility building. It was built in 1900 and also serves as a great background with pretty stone facade. Having your next family session at the Nevius Street Bridge might just be the unique location you never thought of.

As of 2020, new trails have also been paved on the Hillsborough side connecting it to Duke Farms. The bridge and its surroundings offer up so many different looks in a small area that we can cover a lot of ground throughout the 90 minute family session.

This family session at Nevius street bridge ended up being the perfect spot for this family of three boys. While boys are usually not so interested in having their photo taken, they were intrigued by this cool new place to explore during our family session.

Of course, the first order of business is always, convincing the kids that this isn’t a family session. We’re going to have some fun and run around and giggle about it, too.

A bright, sunny day feels like a walk in the park.

I’m a sucker for old stuff. I cant resist shooting against the old stone building on site.

For a family of little ones, the Nevius Street Bridge can offer up a place they’ll remember for years to come. A place they’ll reflect back on the memories made.

The soft wooden tones meshed beautifully with their neutral color pallet chosen for their clothing.

A great moment for mommy and me, the trees lining the river make for a nice natural moment to be captured.
