Family Session Location | Downtown Areas

The downtown area of the town you live in or just a place you love to visit is a perfect way to add a more personal and unique touch to your family session. Places like Downtown Montclair, Downtown Somerville, and the Green in Morristown all offer quaint parks and main streets with tons of areas to explore. We’ll definitely want to think about timing with these sessions so as to avoid some of the peak volume times. So many people say that towns like these are destinations they enjoy visiting but wish they went more often. Sounds like a perfect excuse to make it a session!

The Green in Morristown was the perfect pick for this session. It actually served as an engagement / family session for this newly formed family. With the boys spread out between high school and college, the week between Christmas and New Years was that magical time when everyone would be home. The downtown vibe seemed perfect for this family since the kids weren’t really kids anymore.
