Extended Family Photos at Home – Tewksbury, NJ

October brought a chance to capture generations of love during an extended family session at a family home in Tewksbury, NJ. This session was especially meaningful because it was all about creating memories for Grandma who wanted updated photos, particularly with her newest grandbaby.

Having known this family for years—going all the way back to high school—this session held a special place in my heart. Watching this mama’s family grow and getting to document such precious milestones has been such a joy. Earlier this year, the family welcomed their second child, the most adorable boy, who has brought so much happiness to everyone, especially Grandma. She’s been soaking up time with both her grandsons—the baby and his big brother—and this session perfectly captured their special bond.

The comfort of shooting at home added something truly magical to the day. Being in a comfortable space allowed everyone to relax and focus on enjoying the moments together. It also created a backdrop filled with familiarity and love, making the photos feel even more meaningful. We captured so many combinations, from Grandma with her grandkids to the whole family together, ensuring every relationship was highlighted.

This session marked the baby’s first official photoshoot, and it was so fun to see how cherished he is by everyone. These images not only reflect the joy of having a new little one in the family but also celebrate the new memories being made.
