Ali and Chris’s engagement session at Dvoor Farms in Flemington, NJ, in June was one I won’t forget. The farm holds special memories for Ali, who grew up nearby and whose parents are now actively involved in preserving the farm and its trails. It was the perfect backdrop to capture their love story, surrounded by the nostalgic charm of the place that means so much to them both.

Their story began in the digital age, meeting on Hinge and quickly hitting it off during a memorable first date at a bowling alley in DC. Chris humorously asked if Ali needed bumpers while schooling her in bowling, followed by a night of great conversation at a local piano bar. Their shared love for reality TV, mini golf, gaming, and pizza has only strengthened their bond. Ali and Chris’s journey to engagement was as unique as they are. Ali, not one to wait, proposed with a blue-raspberry ring pop after a romantic dinner at the restaurant where they officially became a couple. Back at home, she set up a cozy ambiance with string lights, candles, and flower petals, reading Chris a heartfelt poem before popping the question. Chris, ever prepared, had secretly ordered matching Star Wars rings engraved with “I love you” and “I know,” an iconic exchange between Han Solo and Princess Leia, waiting for the perfect moment to surprise her.

As they look forward to their wedding at Lambertville Station Inn, the couple is excited to celebrate with family and friends, enjoy the beautiful views, and dance the night away.
