Dan and Sara’s proposal was at the beautiful Cross Estate Gardens near Morristown. It was the perfect spot to pop the question since it was nearby their home, it’s a beautiful, unique place and wouldn’t seem too suspicious if Dan suggested they visit there for a little Saturday morning hike and brunch after, wink wink.
Dan contacted me a couple of weeks before he wanted to propose and we talked through the plan. Joke was on us because the plan changed… and then changed again. He had a feeling she might know what was up (that’s the trouble with dating smart, savvy women!) but still wanted to make it special for her.
In the end, our plan worked because Sara was super surprised by this proposal in Morristown’s beautiful, iconic gardens – the perfect backdrop for a proposal. Dan also thought ahead and made sure his bride to be brought their cat along for the journey in the new backpack carrier- adorable – so he could be part of this couple’s special moment. Sara was so happy to have their fur baby be a part of the proposal!
I’m over the moon for these two and know their engagement, wedding planning, and big day are all going to be an absolute blast. Their love will only grow stronger by the time I see them again. Congrats, Dan and Sara!
