The first time I worked with this fun loving Bridgewater family was for a surprise session for mom’s milestone birthday. We got together at their home for some group shots of mom and her adult kids kids and grandbaby #1 and every combination under the sun.
When you think of a typical milestone birthday, you might think about a formal affair in a catering hall. Dad knew mom just wanted to spend time with her favorite people in the world and have a small gathering. He wanted this day to be extra special so he asked me to be a part of capturing some group photos as well as candids of the family pizza night.

Dad’s main focus was that we got great pictures of their “babies.” Even though these are full grown adults, they will always be mom’s babies.
“Having a sister is like having a best friend you can’t get rid of. You know whatever you do, they’ll still be there.”
Like mother like daughter, these sisters are just as close all these years later.
Life is always crazy, but bringing the 4 kids back home always feels like old times.
I think we can all agree, dad knocked this one out of the park for his wife.
One of my most requested shots in a session like this is grandparents with the grandkids, and no way were we missing that one.
And of course we had to include the other (fur) babies as well!
Once all the formal stuff was done, then the party really got started. Homemade pizzas were on the menu, so everyone was excited to lend a helping hand.
Recreating a picture from yesteryear.
Of course we needed to give all the “kids” some one-on-one time with mom!
