Bouman-Stickney Farmstead, Fall Family Photos- Stanton, NJ

In November, I had the pleasure of capturing an extended family session at Bouman-Stickney Farmstead in Stanton, NJ. This beautiful family is in an exciting new phase of life, with the couple who’s wedding I once shot, now welcoming their first child. It’s the arrival of grandchildren that often prompts grandma and grandpa to gather everyone for a family photo session, and this one was truly special.

Like all extended family sessions, it was mix of group pictures, individual portraits of each couple, and various groupings with the children.  I was so impressed, this family did a fantastic job coordinating their wardrobe, blending neutral colors and patterns to create a casual yet cohesive look. Their thoughtful styling added an extra layer of charm to the photos, making them perfect for hanging on the walls and cherishing for many years to come. Why else would we take these group photos if we aren’t going to hand them on the wall!?

As a photographer, I feel incredibly honored to be a part of this family’s journey. After this fall I’ll have photographed all three kids’ weddings, and it’s heartwarming to know that these images will serve as a memory of this moment in time. Congratulations to this wonderful family on their newest addition, and thank you for letting me capture these precious moments!
