Summer Intimate Wedding Photos, Pendry Natirar- Peapack, NJ

Karen and Mark’s wedding day was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the best love stories take the scenic route. The two first met in high school and even dated briefly many years ago. While life ultimately took them in different directions, they never could have known that decades later their paths would cross again. After building lives and families of their own, they found their way back to each other and began a new chapter together.

Their June wedding was centered around the people who matter most to them. Rather than a large wedding, Karen and Mark chose an intimate celebration filled with family and the simple joy of being surrounded by their favorite people. Karen spent the morning getting ready on-site with her daughters, stepdaughters, and daughters-in-law, while Mark enjoyed a relaxed morning with a close friend before getting ready with his son and son-in-law.

One of the most touching moments of the day happened during the ceremony. As Karen walked down the aisle, Mark surprised her by singing to her. Knowing how much he loves music made the gesture even more meaningful, and the look on Karen’s face said it all. Their ceremony, officiated by Karen’s daughter, overlooked the stunning Natirar Park landscape and included deeply personal vows focused not only on their love for each other, but also on the families they had blended together. A heartfelt toast from Karen’s son later echoed those same sentiments, celebrating how naturally their families had become one.

Throughout the day, touches of yellow florals reflected Karen’s favorite color, while Italian-inspired food, wine, and music paid tribute to the couple’s love of traveling together. The evening ended much like the rest of the day—with family at the center of everything. During the reception, Karen surprised Mark by having his sister sing, creating another unforgettable moment in a family where music clearly plays a special role.

Pendry Natirar provided the perfect backdrop for Karen and Mark’s celebration. Formerly known as The Mansion at Natirar, the property has undergone extensive renovations under Pendry’s ownership, including the addition of a beautiful luxury hotel on-site. This was my first time photographing there since the renovations were completed, and the updates have elevated an already incredible venue into something truly special.

The property manages to strike a unique balance between historic charm and modern luxury. With its mansion-like architecture, elegant interiors, and beautifully updated spaces, Pendry Natirar feels both timeless and fresh. Having the hotel on-site also created a seamless experience for the wedding day, allowing everything from getting ready through the reception to take place in one location.

From a photography perspective, the venue offers endless opportunities. The grounds are stunning, the ceremony location’s sweeping views overlook Natirar Park, and every corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed. Combined with exceptional service and some of the best wedding food around, it’s easy to see why Pendry Natirar has become one of New Jersey’s premier wedding destinations. Karen and Mark’s intimate celebration was the perfect fit for this elegant and welcoming space.
