Their first date was filled with playful banter at a bowling alley in D.C., where Chris teased Ali about needing bumpers, followed by long conversations at a piano bar that lasted late into the night. From that moment, things just clicked, and as they both say, when you know, you know.

Throughout their relationship, Ali and Chris have embraced their shared passions—whether it’s indulging in reality TV marathons, engaging in competitive mini-golf tournaments, or savoring slices of pizza as they build their ranking list of the best local spots. They also share a love for Star Wars, which added a special touch to their proposal story. Ali took the lead by proposing to Chris with a heartfelt poem she wrote, accompanied by candles and string lights. Little did she know, Chris had secretly been planning his own proposal, complete with matching engraved Star Wars rings.
