This family session was not just about capturing smiles and poses—it was about celebrating the bond shared by adult children and their parents, even across the miles. With the son residing in Somerville, and the parents visiting all the way from California, along with the sister from Seattle, this gathering was a rare and precious occasion.

Despite the chilly December air, this sweet family braved the cold knowing they would finally have updated photos to cherish. Also, they knew how much mom really wanted updated photos of her babies, even if they are full grown adults!

The holiday season serves as a time for family reunions, when loved ones from far and wide come together after being away for far too long. For this family, the session also served as a gift—a long requested collection of professional photos, something that would adorn the walls of the parents’ home. The family joked about the abundance of dog photos on their parents walls, compared to the human children so it was time to even things out. I’m glad to say that mission was accomplished!
