Oak Ridge Park, Fall Family Photos- Clark, NJ

In November, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family session at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, NJ. I’ve photographed this family so many times, I’ve honestly lost count. It’s probably about 10 years at this point. It’s such an an honor to officially be the family photographer for them. This family has three wonderful daughters who now span middle school, high school, and college—a nod to the years of growth and change we’ve documented together.

The oldest daughter is off to college now,  which is a common time for families to skip their annual photos. It’s also a time when kids become a little less cooperative with mom saying, “It’s time for our family photo session!” Thankfully, not this family; these girls have remained incredibly easygoing, cooperative, and always so fun to shoot with. It’s always a joy to work with them, as they continue to show a strong bond as sisters. While they do have their occasional arguments, their friendship and closeness shine through in every session. This year was especially poignant as the three sisters don’t live together anymore, making the time they spend together even more precious. With the oldest daughter’s return home from college, it was the perfect opportunity to capture the family together and the girls’ evolving personalities.

Having these images means the world to their mom and dad. Despite the miles that now separate them, the photos serve as a beautiful reminder that the family is still united. It’s a special moment frozen in time, reflecting their enduring bond and love. Here’s to many more years of capturing these cherished moments together!
