As soon as I met Amy and Jacob, I could see why they fell in love! This adorable couple has lovely things to say about each other, including how they can always tell when the other one is feeling down and cheer them up. That will make for a wonderful life together.

Amy was completely surprised by Jacob’s sweet proposal. They were in the middle of navigating a move, and Amy getting a new job, so it was the perfect time for him to do it – she was a busy girl, occupied with so many other things! He created a scrapbook of the most cherished memories from their relationship and gave it to her at Rutgers Gardens, the location of one of their first dates. It’s a favorite hangout spot for this couple, and it was the best place for Jacob to pop the question.

Even though Amy first went with Jacob for him to figure out what style and size worked best for her, Jacob went back to get the ring on his own so that he could pull off this ultimate surprise for his future bride. Check out the photographs from this happy couple’s proposal day below
